  6.    with  information  regarding  DigiCard,   system  requirements,  and
  7.    installation.  If you have any questions or comments,  please do not

  11. WHAT IS DIGICARD?
  12. =================

  14.    DigiCard is a powerful  free-form flash card program  that will help
  15.    you remember any information vital to your success.  Whether you are
  16.    a student  or a  working  professional,  you will  find  DigiCard an
  17.    invaluable learning tool.  DigiCard is easy to use,  so you can take
  18.    advantage of accelerated,  computer-assisted  learning  in the least 
  19.    amount of time.  To get the most out of DigiCard,  please go through
  20.    the introductory sections of the on-line documentation.

  29.     * Files saved in Microsoft Access 1.1 format.
  30.     * Compatible with text files from other flash card programs.

  32.   EDITOR FEATURES:
  33.     * Integrated editor with the ease of drag & drop editing.
  34.     * Ability to compose questions and answers up to 32k in length.
  35.     * Info exchange with other Windows apps (through the Clipboard).
  36.     * Editor Scripts, a time-saving feature for composition of
  37.       questions and answers.

  40.   VIEWER FEATURES:
  41.     * Three presentation styles (Sequential, Random, and KeyLink).

  48. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  51.    The system configuration required to run DigiCard 2.0 is:
  52.  
  53.     * 4 megabytes or more of RAM.
  54.     * 2 megabytes or more of disk space.
  55.     * VGA graphics and up.
  56.     * Windows 3.1 and above.

  59. INSTALLATION
  60. ============
  61.  
  62.    1) You have a choice of two methods to install DigiCard 2.0:
  63.     a) Create a temporary directory  and unzip  the contents of the
  64.        DigiCard zip file into that directory.  OR...
  65.     b) Unzip the contents of the DigiCard zip file onto a floppy
  66.        disk (1.2 or 1.44 meg). This creates a permanent installation
  67.        disk for DigiCard 2.0 (recommended).

  69.    2) Once you have completed the above, run SETUP.EXE from Windows.
  70.    3) Specify a directory where you want DigiCard to be installed.
  71.    4) The rest of the installation process is automatic.

  73.    Note:  DigiCard may be distributed in multiple compressed files.  If
  74.    this is the case, unzip all compressed files into the same directory
  75.    or a disk before running SETUP.EXE.

  78. REGISTRATION INFORMATION
  79. ========================

  81.     * Registrants receive the following:

  83.          1) License to use all future releases of DigiCard.
  84.          2) Removal of registration reminders.
  85.          3) Copy of the latest registered version of DigiCard on disk.
  86.          4) "Strategies for Success," a companion guide to DigiCard 
  87.             loaded with helpful tips to boost academic and pofessional
  88.             performance.
  89.          5) One year free support.

  91.     * All net profits or 40% of registration fee (which ever is 
  92.       greater) are donated to charitable organizations of the 
  93.       registrant's choice.
  94.     * Registration is only $20.
  95.     * Users can register through CompuServe (GO SWREG, #2211) or by US
